4 Ways to Come up With a Great Thesis Statement -TutorNerds
4 Ways to Come up With a Great Thesis Statement -TutorNerds Fullerton Private Tutor Tips: 4 ways to Come Up With a Great Thesis Statement Whether a student is writing a paper for a science course or literature class, they will be faced with writing several thesis statements throughout their high school career. It can be a real challenge to stare at a blank piece of paper and formulate a thesis that will earn a student an A paper from the teacher. However, there are some great tips and tricks that will help students in any course come up with a great thesis statement and learn how to refine it so their paper will be clear, concise, and interesting to read our private Fullerton tutoring will help you improve your writing. 1. Start asking questions One of the first things student writers should do is start asking themselves the questions they will need to answer throughout their paper. Why did a particular character in a novel react a certain way? Why did the plot take a sudden twist? There are lots of different ways students can start analyzing a piece of literature, and they can start by asking themselves questions about things they dont quite understand. If students are in a science or history course, they can look into cause and effect or the scientific method. Is students are stuck they can ask themselves who, what, when, where, and why. This can help them get their thoughts organized and get the creative juices flowing. 2. Dont worry too much Many students worry that their initial thesis statement wont be perfect, and this will most certainly be true. Nearly every writer will need to refine their statement into a second or third draft. Students should not be so focused on whether or not their first statement is amazing; rather they should just get something written down on paper to start refining it and move on to the next step. Worrying about being perfect is one of the leading causes of writers block for any writing, but especially academic writing that needs to be well organized and concise. 3. Write an outline Students often skip writing an outline because they feel it is a waste of time. In fact, writing an outline is an incredibly helpful way to start formulating a thesis statement as well as a well-written paper on the whole. Its important that each paragraph goes back to the thesis statement and stays within the confines of the main idea. When students are writing an outline they will be able to go through a checklist to see if their paper meets all of the requirements before they put in hours of writing and editing. Many students can write their thesis paragraph, as well as their entire paper, by expanding their detailed outline. As a result theyâll have a rough draft in no time (READ: Irvine AP Tutor Tips: 4 Ways to Prep for AP Exams). 4. Focus on originality Students are encouraged to think about whether or not a potential thesis has an original spin. If theyre writing something that the teacher has read about over and over again, its hard to make the paper interesting and stick out among the crowd. If a student writer can come up with an original spin, something that has to do with their interpretation of the learning material, they will come up with a much more interesting thesis that will lead to an overall better paper and possibly a better grade. Daily Telegraph recommends us to tutors
Daily Telegraph recommends us to tutors Delighted to see the Daily Telegraph has recommended First Tutors in their piece on how to earn extra cash in the recession. Slightly disappointed to see they've also recommended two sites with no contact address/phone and in one case, hidden WHOIS details. We all have competitors; that's life and actually it is good for companies because it makes us pull our socks up and focus on doing a good job, but please, lets recommend the credible ones in the national press, not the dodgy ones. A word of warning to tutors and parents: pause before you enter your personal contact details and information about your children into a website without any contact details and where the site owner has gone to extreme lengths to hide their identity. You can see photos of our founders in the 'About us' section because we've got nothing to hide. There are numerous seemingly dormant tuition websites and agencies with no real contact details out there. We are an unregulated industry so please consider carefully.

There are also many books available at stores as well as in bookstores, but it is the online version of the dictionary that will do the trick. These types of dictionaries are updated and contain all the new terms that come about in any given field. There are so many different dictionaries available online. Some are very expensive and may cost thousands of dollars. Some are very cheap and you can get one for just a few bucks. Most of these dictionaries are searchable and you can sort them by any one of the following criteria. The first category that you will see will be 'familiar' which means that the term or definition will be listed near the term that you are searching for.For example, if you want to know the scientific level to which carbon dioxide is used in the making of a hair, you will type in the word carbon dioxide and the search engine will show up a list of all the definitions or terms that are within the technical and scientific level. What Is Mole Map Chemistry?
What Is Mole Map Chemistry? You may be asking yourself, what is Mole Map Chemistry? It is a chemistry course that is very popular as it is both fun and entertaining.Mole maps are fairly straight forward. The molecules of all of the elements are mapped to show where they can be found in the environment. The student is presented with a visual representation of the elements they need to study in order to make an element. The point of the course is to allow students to understand chemical symbols and how the concept of molecular structure applies to their chemical knowledge. Mole Science, which is the curriculum, includes the following main classes. They include Hydrogen, Oxygen, Helium, Nitrogen, Carbon, and Phosphorus. There are several standard classes that will probably appear in most typical chemistry class. The professor will work to match the student's knowledge of the material. Each major theme will have a different number of topics. A typical homework assignment would require stude nts to list the ten most common elements and then list the fifteen most common elements. This is a very helpful for both for students who wish to take the course and those who are already teaching the course. Students are often confused by the matter of whether or not they can use a substance that is listed in their book as their own material. This can make the process of learning even more complicated. However, Mole Map Chemistry covers such matter. In the present situation, the student will need to prepare their laboratory and materials in order to implement the concept of using a common element to provide them with a scientific understanding of the concept. This is why it is important to provide a classroom atmosphere to facilitate the process. The teacher can always learn new techniques to show students their basic concepts in order to motivate them and make them want to learn more. The Professor of Mole Map Chemistry has a unique style to his lectures do go by very quickly. He als o utilizes it to motivate students to continue to try and understand the subject. Students will find themselves fascinated by this course as it is both enjoyable and informative.
Why blogging is perfect for making money as an introvert - Introvert Whisperer
Introvert Whisperer / Why blogging is perfect for making money as an introvert - Introvert Whisperer Why blogging is perfect for making money as an introvert Ugh, that natural barrier for us introverts; the one that seems to stop us from reaching our goals and dreams. Why does it exist? Does it even have to exist? Sometimes I find that Iâm creating my own barriers and making life harder for myself. But, when I found blogging, I realized I didnât have to put myself as âout thereâ as I first thought. And with this, Ive found that blogging has helped me to shoot down the stereotype that introverts canât be successful! In fact, I found blogging to be such an excellent solution to so many problems. Not only has it enabled me to start my own business, but by only needing to rely on myselfâ"for the most partâ"to be able to recharge my batteries, to give me the confidence to succeed, has been a weight off my shoulders. In this article, my aim is to show you how blogging can do the same for you and how it can earn you money, in a step by step approach. Please note: my assumption is that youâve taken the necessary steps to get your blog set up and know the niche youâre in. Step 1: No expectations A more laid-back approach to blogging can serve you very well. The key to this is to NOT expect any income from blogging for at least 6 months. This is mostly valid since generating enough traffic to your blog to provide an income doesnât happen overnight. Why so? Well, itâs difficult to establish yourself as an authority in an instant. Like most things, it takes time to provide enough value to the internet world before Google and other search engines deem your content as being viable for traffic i.e., in the form of increasing your rankings in SERPS (search engine results pages). Instead of creating instant pressure on yourself to achieve the status of being an overnight success, by taking this no expectations approach, as an introvert, Iâve found this to be highly beneficial. That fear of starting your own business neednât be as scary as you think! Step 2: Content research: easy tools to help OK, so now youâve set yourself up with a solid foundation, you need to carry out your content research. For without content, you wonât be able to make money from your blog. This is likely to be the most important part of your blogging journeyâ"content is so, so important! By targeting your content to what your audience is already looking for answers on, you fend off that feeling that you have to develop a community or be face to face networking; things that can really drive up anxiety levels as an introvert. There are two highly beneficial tools I recommend for this: Response posts Keywords Everywhere plugin Posts that respond to questions Go ahead and type in âhow to make money from a blogâ in a Google search bar. Everyoneâs results are likely to be different, but if you scroll down to the âPeople also askâ section, youâll see a bunch of suggested questions. My results are thus:
